Salvaged Selvedge
The Salvaged Selvedge is a 12oz Japanese Selvedge Denim with a classic indigo tone and rise washed. In 2018 typhoons and mud slides ravaged Okayama, Japan – the hub of the Japanese denim industry. Mills saw rolls of denim covered in mud and debris, essentially ruining them. But instead of allowing this fabric to end up as waste, it was salvaged. The rolls of denim went though a rinse wash process, something that is normally done on finished jeans. This denim therefore has a rise washed look and feel with varying hues of indigo and a hairy cotton surface texture. White and redline selvedge ID.
*Note that there is a typo on the back pocket flasher incorrectly listing the denims weight at 14.5oz. The correct weight of this denim is 12.oz.
